Afinal, o que é o Palácio de Cristal do Porto? A construção do Palácio começou em 1861 e foi inaugurado em 1865 pelo Rei D. Luís. O intuito dele era acolher a Exposição Internacional do Porto, que contava com mais de 3.000 expositores, e a visita oficial do Rei, de Dona Maria Pia e do príncipe herdeiro.
